Maury Povich returns Monday, September 14, 2009 for the 12th season of "Maury," a daily one-hour nationally syndicated talk show from NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution.

"Maury" continues to deliver more than 2.5 million daily viewers and finished the 2008/2009 season as the second youngest-skewing talk show (behind only "The Tyra Banks Show").  It is also the #2 rated talk show in Adults 18-34 behind only "Oprah", and the #3 rated talk show in Adults 18-49 behind "Oprah" and barely behind "Dr. Phil."  Since "Maury" made its debut as a national talk show, more than 60 daytime talk shows have come and gone. Not only has "Maury" survived in a very competitive talk show landscape, the program has thrived.
 
As a veteran journalist, Povich is known for his ability to get to the heart of issues. This season, 'Maury' focuses on topical items from the news, talent shows, psychic phenomenon and will continue to explore compelling issues that affect relationships and families.
